Milk Matters is a Cape Town based charity organisation that collects donated breastmilk and supplies it to babies deprived of their mothers’ own milk, giving them the best possible start in life.

In addition, Milk Matters, a registered Non-Profit Organisation and Public Benefit Organisation, feels very strongly about informing the public and all related parties of the advantages of breastfeeding.

Headed by a passionate and dedicated team, Milk Matters aims to educate both the public and medical personnel about the need for donor breastmilk and the incredible benefits that it provides to babies.

In the Western Cape, with a high prevalence of premature babies and the presence of HIV, the need for donated breastmilk is pronounced.
